Why is this music so fucking boring?

Why can't we have more WACKY adventure games like Grandia? I played that for the first time last year and it was great. The battle system deserves recognition for also being incredibly fun, one of those games that made grinding actually enjoyable.
Games just don't seem to have involving stories and character anymore, even FF, the cream of the crop is resorted to WoW like battle systems and uninteresting characters.

Came on sale at Target for like $399(As opposed to it's original price of $550), when I saw that price change I grabbed one the next day. Got it set up yesterday morning and I'm loving it. It's honestly much bigger than I would have anticipated, but it's just perfect for me, anything bigger would more of a hinder.
I am running into some picture quality issues, though. The tv channels just looks terribly grainy, and so do my PS2 games. I suspect it's my cables and my cable provider(I don't have direct tv or anything). My PS2 is running through an AVI cable, which I think is the reason behind this awful picture quality. Will have to look into purchasing some Component cables very soon, but I don't think there's much I can do about my channels issue.
But it's not so bad, I don't even watch tv. But I bought a pair of HDMI cables today, and let me tell you....HDMI makes a WORLD of difference in terms of quality. Absolutely beautiful stuff. So overall, aside from those issues, I'm pretty happy with my purchase. It took me a long while, but I finally got it with my own hard earned money.

It's kind of dumb to be even making a topic out of this, but I guess it's kind of a special thing to me. Sup Commander was something I wanted to reach the day I made my account and found out about the ranks, it just feels surreal to me that It's happened, long after those days, and how so many things have changed since then.
I guess reaching the last rank gave me some form of closure or something.

For a while I was just going to buy a new laptop because I like the portability and convenience of them. But then I figured that it wasn't worth it in the end because I want something powerful and decently long lasting, laptops don't provide that(unless you want something with horrible battery life)
Lot of people here on NG are big into building their own rigs, and after some thinking and research, I've decided that this will be the route that I'll be taking as well. So I went to newegg and gathered some parts. It's been switched around a few times and I think I've found the right parts for my machine. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous about it all, but I hear the process isn't that difficult, and just requires some time and patience. And if anyones curious, this is going to be a gaming rig, I'm interested in playing a few PC games, but it'll also be mostly used for heavy browsing and video watching, just the norm. This isn't top of the line, but I figure it'll last me for a good few years. In the end, I think this will definitely benefit me, as I'm interested in pursuing a hardware/IT career field.
So here's the list of parts that I've selected, if you have any suggestions for better stuff, then feel free to comment.

Wow, time flies don't it? Aside from all the recent gloomy looking weather. i don't really mind the fall, even more so because I'm in a better life situation than i was last Fall. Any of you folks looking forward to the Winter? I know I'm fucking not.
Also been getting into Disco/Soul music, I don't know why Disco has been given such a negative response. The music was so much more fun and creative than the boring prog rock/ classic rock phase that was going on at the time. I mean honestly I think R&B, Soul, Disco, pop has given birth to so much better music than anything traditional rock/metal has done in decades.
One of my favorite songs ever made, it's feel good, it's a song you could dance to. It's just amazing.
